See and experience luxury from days past while touring the private rail car of notorious railway baron Jay Gould of New York, and hear the history of how this beautifully appointed relic came to rest in Jefferson, Texas as its final destination. Beautifully preserved by the Jessie Allen Wise Garden Club since acquiring it in 1954, the tour of the Atalanta takes approximately 20 minutes. Tour Dates and times are: Friday & Saturday, May 5 & 6 • 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Sunday, May 7 • 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
