Diamond Bessie and Abe Rothschild arrived in Jefferson in early 1877. Following a picnic across Big Cypress Bayou, Abe departed town. Two weeks later, Bessie’s body was found in the woods, shot through the head. This is where our story begins. The historic little town of Jefferson has its share of ghost stories, and you will witness the best one of all when Bessie rises from her grave to spy on the re-enactment of her own sensational murder trial.
